2027 Community Calendar

Calling all young artists ages 2-14!

The Port Matilda EMS needs your creativity to help save lives! We are putting together our official 2027 community calendar, and we want YOUR artwork to be featured on it. All proceeds from calendar sales will directly support our local emergency medical services and first responders.

What to Draw: Grab your crayons, markers, or paints! We are looking for bright, colorful drawings that celebrate our community and first responders. Need some inspiration? You could draw:

• Ambulances and emergency vehicles helping the community
• Local paramedics and EMTs being heroes
• Beautiful seasonal scenes of our area (spring flowers, summer parks, autumn leaves, or winter snow)

Submission Rules: Open to all kids ages 2 to 14. Please use bold, bright crayons, markers, paints, or colored pencils on standard letter-sized paper (8.5″ x 11″).  Layout should be horizontal/landscape, and please leave a ¼” margin on all sides to allow for printing. All entries must be received by Monday, October 12. Lucky submissions will be featured in our calendar; other entries may be used in social media postings.

How to Submit: Please write the artist’s name, age, and a parent’s phone number clearly on the back of the drawing. You can either drop your masterpiece off at: Port Matilda EMS Station, 402 South Main Street, Port Matilda, or email it (PDF format only) to: PortMatildaEMS.fundraising@gmail.com

Artwork must be original and submitted with a parent/guardian’s permission. By submitting artwork, you grant the Port Matilda EMS permission to reproduce the artwork in its fundraising calendar and related promotional materials.

our first 5k Run / walk

We are currently accepting sponsorships to support our event, which aims to provide participants with t-shirts and awards. Falcon Race Timing will provide comprehensive services, including RFID Ultra & Trident Race Timing System, disposable timing tags, a 15-foot inflatable finish line arch, finish line race clock, race bibs, pins, timing and scoring, online registration, race day data entry, finish line setup, and immediate results. Pre-registration is encouraged and includes race bibs with participant information. We are ensuring compliance with local and state regulations.
