Non-Emergency Transport Van

Port Matilda EMS currently operates a PUC-licensed van to provide non-emergency transportation for individuals who don’t require medical services during transportation.  Our van is wheelchair accessible, can accommodate personal oxygen equipment, and has space for a ride-along companion if desired.  Our drivers are CPR certified and will provide you with personalized door-to-door service.  Our van is available by reservation for transport to scheduled doctor appointments, outpatient therapy appointments, to and from the hospital, etc.  Non-emergency transport services typically are not covered by insurance.  For more information or to become a volunteer driver, please call (814) 692-1035 or email us pmemstransports@gmail.com.

Special Event Standbys

Port Matilda EMS is available to provide an ambulance and crew for medical support at specialized events.  In the past we have provided support for local fire companies, high school sporting events, The Grange Fair, and other community events.  EMS coverage at fire standbys provides overall protection for firefighters by monitoring their well-being to ensure the prevention of overexertion and various heat-related injuries.
